UI/UX Designer

Fastdev is a Swedish software development company founded in 2007. Its goal is to deliver world-class software development. Today we are a team of 200 based in Stockholm or remote and we keep growing rapidly. We are now looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to join our team. As a UI/UX Designer at Fastdev, you will work closely with the product owners, project managers, developers, and testers to create user-centered designs for mobile and web applications. You will be responsible for developing and supporting our design system, as well as designing interfaces from scratch and supporting ready-made interfaces.

What we expect from you

• Proven experience in designing user interfaces (UI/UX)
• Experience working directly with product owners, analysts, developers, and testers
• Knowledge and understanding of the principles of usability and UX design
• Ability to develop and support design systems for mobile and web applications
• Ability to create functional sketches, graphics, and other design elements
• Communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Knowledge of the principles of creating/drawing functional sketches, graphics, etc.
• Experience of work with design tools and instruments: Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, InVision, Canva, etc.
• Experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript being a plus
• Ability to ensure the quality of interface implementation by developers
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to offer options and experiments
• Higher education (preferably in the fields of design, CG or information systems)
• Experience of work in distributed teams is an advantage
