Fastdev is a Swedish software development company founded in 2007. Its goal is to deliver world-class software development. Today we are a team of 200 based in Stockholm or remote and we keep growing rapidly. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to ensure the successful delivery and completion of software projects for our customers.

What we expect from you

  • At least 3 years of experience in running the medium-size projects
  • Knowledge of project and change management, associated methodologies, techniques, processes and approaches
  • Good working knowledge of project estimation techniques
  • Experience in managing a project team
  • Excellent technical knowledge - good understanding and experience in software development, knowledge of testing procedures
  • Ability to build a strong network and relationships both internally and externally
  • Knowledge of Agile management  (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Degree in a field of Information Technology, Software Engineering, or Computer Science
Preferable
  • Experience of work with distributed teams and remote customers
  • Experience of work with remote international teams would be an advantage
  • Programming and testing hands-on experience

The work

  • Manage presale, provide business analysis, perform release/version planning, scheduling, budgeting, execution and delivery of the project
  • Interact with the customers to convert their expectations and needs into technical requirements
  • Assemble and lead project teams (designers, software developers)
  • Track milestones, deliverables, change requests
  • Ensure the quality of the project delivery through quality control (testing, evaluation, troubleshooting) and collecting the customer feedback
